From playing around in a couple of 'Intro to Yoga' classes to volunteering at a Hot Yoga studio; When I fully committed to my practice 6 years ago. I immediately knew that Yoga would forever remain a constant in my life. I completed my 200-hour Vinyasa Flow training with Corepower Yoga in 2015, and have completed my 300-hour advanced Vinyasa training in Goa, India in 2019. In my experience, and own practice Yoga is much more than just the asana. Yoga is centered around the breathe, Yoga is the attitude we present to others, Yoga is community, Yoga is balance. Simply put, Yoga is a well-integrated life.
I am passionate about my approach to teaching; I combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness, and a dose of inspiration to help students deepen their practice. Leaving them with the ability to thrive by nurturing body, mind, and soul.
In my classes, I aim to create a warm and inviting s p a c e where the idea of practicing “Imperfect Yoga” truly paints the picture of the heart of Yoga. I teach from an exploration perspective, as I believe this may be where we learn the most important lessons. When we show up to practice willing, and vulnerable, we open ourselves up to the possibility of immense growth, resulting in a paved path to our true courageous, most resilient self. Tying in what we learn on the mat into real life off the mat. That is where I will meet my students.
