I have graduated from the University of Melbourne and I have studied at the University of Tokyo in Japan. I am currently studying Neuroscience and Linguistics at the University of California, Berkeley. I am also TEFL-certified; I did my Cambridge CELTA and DELTA while teaching French and English for more than 5 years. I can speak French, English, Japanese and I am currently learning Chinese and Korean. I want to be honest: I don’t like studying and I hate role-play activities. I like to learn by doing. I have tried using online ressources but I realized boring activities and textbooks didn’t really work for me. In my class, I want to focus on speaking and listening. The most important thing for me is to avoid using the textbook approach because, well, no one speaks like that in the real world. I’m a very talkative and open-minded guy so I can talk about a wide range of different topics. For example, I could help you to learn english for - traveling/dating/flirting - business - making friends/internet slang - academic/exam/IELTS, TEFL, TOIEC, etc. We can talk about everything you like, but my favorite topic are philosophy, psychology, business and self-development. My teaching is very flexible so if your goal is to write or sound like a native speaker, we can always change our priorities.
